Coaching Models
It can be useful to have a framework or a process to follow when Life Coaching. I like to think of these coaching models or processes as 'frameworks' that serve as memory joggers of the steps (in big chunks) involved when coaching. They are certainly not meant to be used as firm or rigid process definitions. The 'do this then do that' approach does not work for Life Coaching, in my experience. People's processes are not straight-line activities that can be predetermined to follow certain steps!
Coaching experts have come up with some useful frameworks. The most common and most widely accepted as good 'working models' are explained on the following pages.
